3.5 Ton air conditioner condenser an be either 14 or 15 SEER depending on which indoor unit it is paired with. If it is installed with the manufacturer-recommended evaporator coil, variable speed furnace, variable speed air handler, or variable speed modular blower, and also sometimes a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV), it is a 15 SEER system.

    Shipping Tracking Orders Pricetronic's tracking system often has trouble displaying freight/PRO tracking information as it is optimized for smaller items. It's best to track freight shipments directly on the Carrier's own site.
    You will be given the name of the freight company (we use a few different trucking companies) that is carrying your order and well as the tracking information to look your order up.
    In cases with multiple tracking numbers, please note that Pricetronic will show any small UPS / FedEx / USPS shipments as the primary tracking number automatically, you can view freight tracking information by viewing your full order details. When your order reaches a nearby terminal the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a drop off date & time, usually this is about 24 hours before drop off.
    If the carrier cannot reach you, we will attempt to reach you on Pricetronic.
    Shipping Policy &
    Transit Times
    We mainly ship from our warehouses in Dayton, OH and near Atlanta, GA. Free shipping promotions apply to residential or business curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous states. Freight LTL Shipping currently does not include inside delivery. We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. Orders are normally shipped within 1 to 3 business days, and arrival is expected within about 5-7 business days from order until delivery for most states. Closer to 7-10 business days if you are on the west coast.
    Shipping transit times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on your delivery address. Items ordered on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) start to process and ship as early as the following business day. To get orders out ASAP, we are only offering our quickest shipping items. We frequently keep stock up to date; on the rare occasion we run into a stocking issue we will contact you directly, and can usually substitute out a unit of equal or greater value.
    Some items may be placed on backorder, and a few extra business days may be required for back ordered items to ship. Shipping transit times start once your order leaves our warehouse. We highly recommend not to schedule your installation/replacement with your HVAC Installer until you have received your product;
    this can avoid any possible additional charges. Since the shipping means are not via our delivery trucks, some delays in shipping by the freight or ground carrier may occur which are unfortunately out of our control.
    What to Expect During Freight Delivery
    Most of the items that we sell and ship will ship through freight carriers. These items will be on a skid, strapped down, and wrapped with blue shrink wrap. The freight company should call the phone number on your order and schedule a delivery appointment with you before attempting delivery. Since most people have not ever dealt with a freight company shipment we have outlined the best way to check the shipment for damage before signing for delivery.
  • Do not sign for your shipment until all items have been carefully inspected.
  • Please remove any cardboard to ensure that there is not any concealed damage.
  • Please ensure that all units have been received in good condition or refuse delivery.

  • Please inspect your item carefully while the delivery driver is present. DO NOT
    just sign for the item without inspecting the product. When you sign the delivery receipt you are releasing the trucking company of any responsibility for your item. We cannot be held responsible for damages caused by the trucking company. Contact us through Pricetronic mail system with any questions, we're here to help!
    Delivery
    Equipment Arrival When your order reaches a nearby terminal the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a drop off date & time, usually this is about 24 hours before drop off.
    If the carrier cannot reach you, we will attempt to reach you on Pricetronic. If no correspondence is received by us or the freight company in a timely manner, your order may need to be returned to sender to avoid storage fees.
    Once your order arrives, make sure to inspect each and every item on the pallet. Count the number of items (boxes) on the shipment. Make sure that your count matches the count printed on the delivery receipt before signing for your delivery.
    Missing items or incorrect items should be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order by contacting our customer service department, either through Pricetronic or directly. Small items or accessories are commonly tucked into boxes of larger items to protect them during transit. Be sure to check inside all boxes before reporting a missing item!
    After taking count of the pieces on your shipment, remove wrapping or boxes and inspect each item of equipment thoroughly in the front of the driver. Do not sign the delivery receipt until you have thoroughly inspected each item. Check all of the equipment to make sure it is not dented or heavily scratched. Make sure to mark the delivery receipt clear, short, wrap broken or damaged after inspecting your shipment thoroughly. (Whichever is applicable.)
    Making Notes on the Delivery Receipt
    If the number of items noted on the delivery receipt matches what you have received and none of the items have been damaged. Accept your delivery, sign and Mark the Receipt Clear. Note:
    The consignee (customer) is responsible to check and assure that the products being received are clear of damages and/or shortages.
    If the items or boxes on the shipment do not match the number listed on the delivery receipt. Mark the Receipt Short (a packing slip will be attached to the freight shipment for your reference) Make sure to note on the delivery receipt which items are missing. We will work with the carrier to track the missing items, please allow up to 7 business days for the freight carrier to locate your items. Please allow the appropriate time for the Freight Carrier to locate the missing items notated short on the delivery receipt. If the freight carrier is not able to locate the missing items, we will ship those items via standard ground shipping to you at no charge if the receipt was noted short and the items that are missing are noted on the delivery receipt.
    If the shrink wrap is torn or has been replaced during transit; Mark the Receipt Wrap Broken.
    How Do I Handle a Damaged Shipment? If your order arrives with obvious or heavy damage, please refuse the shipment and contact us so we may issue a replacement order.
    If you are unable to refuse delivery or if the damage is concealed, contact us ASAP so that we may help with a replacement order.
    If your order arrives with smaller cosmetic damage, please contact us so we may assist you further. If you are present at the time of delivery, please accept the items, but note the damage on the delivery receipt.
    Returns
    Return Policy
    Here at HVACDirect Online we work hard to deliver high-quality products, in excellent condition, to your residence. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, unused merchandise can be returned by contacting our customer service department. Returns for Unused Products
    We can process returns for unused products and refunds only for items purchased from HVACDirect Online. A 15% restocking fee may be charged on returned merchandise, unless defective. To set up a return for unused products purchased online, contact customer service within 30 days from the day your order shipped. To receive a refund, please make sure of the following:
  • All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition
  • The product must be free from damages, scratches and/or defects
  • All merchandise must not have been installed
  • You must have the original manufacturer packaging for the item (manuals, accessories, packaging materials)
  • All free or gift items including accessories must be included with your return
  • There cannot be any writing or labels on the original manufacturer packaging for the item.
  • Packages must be sent back by customer via a traceable source, such as FedEx or UPS. Please do not use USPS
  • All freight bound equipment must be returned via freight carriers (If you are unsure which method your products should return via please contact us through Pricetronic mail system)
  • All items must be returned with their assigned return merchandise authorization (RMA) number if applicable.
  • The purchaser is responsible for the cost of return shipping for customer choice returns or if the wrong equipment is purchased.
    All returns associated with our "Free Shipping Offer" will have deducted from the refund the original shipping fees that HVACDirect Online incurred in the process of shipping your order. For all other orders not associated with our "Free Shipping Offer" original shipping charges are non-refundable.
    We recommend you retain your tracking number after shipping your product. Returns for Damaged or Order Errors If you are returning a product because we made an error in your order, we will promptly send you the correct item at no additional cost;
    we will also schedule and pay for return shipping. Please contact our customer service and advise of the incorrect item received.
    If the product is damaged, we will also pay for return shipping should we require the item back for a replacement order or full refund to be issued. Please contact us ASAP for any types of order issues, we're here to help! One-of-a-kind or unique items like our "Open Box" or "Scratch & Dent" inventory may not have a replacement available. In such cases we can instead process a full refund for any issues on these types of items.

    It doesn't matter when it happens, whenever your HVAC system fails you need it fixed. No worries, we have you covered. We will work with you to provide any warranty covered part that your unit needs. Accordingly, make sure you review and are familiar with the terms, language, and/or requirements for any applicable manufacturer's warranty. Please note all warranties offered are directly through the manufacturer and not HVACDirect Online. Your tech can source these parts as well.
    We do offer to source warranty parts but we need documentation on the failed parts to be reimbursed from the manufacturer under your unit's warranty. Please contact us for more information of if you need warranty assistance. How Do I Register My Warranty
    In most cases a licensed professional must have either fully installed or inspected your equipment before and including turning on the product(s) during initial start-up. After the initial start-up has been completed the professional will provide you with a dated installation invoice detailing the model(s) and applicable serial number(s) of the equipment.
    Some manufacturers also require registration with them of the product(s) installed within the first 30-90 days from installation / initial start-up to validate and receive the product(s) full warranty coverage. It does not cost anything additional to register equipment, and all warranties advertised are at no additional charge.
    Some restrictions apply, see manufacturers documentation shipped along with the product(s) or refer to applicable manufacturer's website for up-to-date warranty terms.
    Warranty validation is solely dependent on the manufacturer's requirements for the product(s) purchased and make sure you review and are familiar with the terms, language, and/or requirements for any applicable manufacturer's warranty. How We Provide Warranty Parts
    We have full-time technicians on staff, providing warranty replacement parts for any units that have been purchased through us that are still under warranty. In many cases, the failed part must be returned to us for the warranty. In cases such as this we may request that you purchase the new part and will receive a refund on that charge once we receive the original part back. Any expedited shipping will be an extra charge.
    We reserve the right to reject any warranty claim for a replacement part(s) and/or repairs if all or any of the required documentation is not provided at the time of filing a claim. Is There a Labor Warranty
    No, we do not directly provide any labor warranties or compensation of any kind for any costs incurred by the consumer due to malfunction of any part(s) for any products sold. In most cases, the installing professional may be able to provide additional purchasable labor warranties. Please inquire with them on pricing and availability.
    If any product purchased from HVACDirect Online should result in failure upon installation or not operate after installation, we are only responsible for supplying the part(s) warranted by the manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty as to parts.
